Shaft claims sixth consecutive PGA Tour® title at Chrysler Classic of Tucson

Memphis, TN …Dynamic Gold was once again in familiar territory claiming top honors at both the World Golf Championships – Accenture Match Play Championship in addition to the Chrysler Classic of Tucson. These victories mark seven consecutive titles won with Dynamic Gold this year on the PGA Tour out of only nine tournaments played. As further evidence of True Temper’s global dominance in professional golf, True Temper iron shafts have captured 21 of the 28 WGC tournaments played since their inception in 1999…3 out of every 4!

The Chrysler Classic of Tucson champion trusted a hybrid set combining the revolutionary Dynamic Gold SL in his long irons and Dynamic Gold in his mid and short irons. Shooting a blistering 17-under par on the weekend, he was able to claim a one-shot victory over the runner up who also trusted Dynamic Gold to finish with at 267 total. In total, Dynamic Gold was the most trusted shaft model by a 3-to-1 margin over the nearest competitor and True Temper iron shafts were found in the bags of four of the top five finishers.

At the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am on the Champions Tour, a Dynamic Gold victory completed a clean sweep of the weekend with the champion claiming his first win since 1982 by firing a final-round 66 to claim a one-shot victory. This win keeps True Temper perfect on the Champions Tour having claimed the first four titles of the 2006 season.
